International Day Of Mourning

( April 28)

On April 28 of each year workers and spouses, union or non union come together to mourn for workers who gave their life in supporting their families. It has become a yearly event in our Community as we established a monument in our City Park in coalition with our District Labour Council. On April 28, we all come out together to lay roses at the site at 11am and remember our fellow workers that died and were injured that changed their life. We must remember SAFETY COMES FIRST:

"IT'S YOUR LIFE DON'T LEAVE WORK WITHOUT IT"
